EGYPT’S governmental policy has also encouraged agricultural exports through a package of important decisions including devaluation of Egyptian currency and opening new markets before Egyptian exports. This allowed orange exports to grow from 900 thousand tons in 2011/2012 reaching about 1500 thousand tons in 2020/2021.
HAMA AGRICULTURAL has decided to benefit from Egypt’s unique location and started to launch its agricultural projects in best fertile areas in Egypt. At the moment, HAMA AGRICULTURAL runs 18 000 acres of farms mainly grown by perennial plants. Further, the Company plans to grow 5 000 acres in coming five years.

HAMA AGRICULTURAL grows different finest varieties of Mandarins to meet the different requirements of market. Thanks to growing different varieties, our Mandarin season lasts for five months from November until March.
